Autodisco's Mirror Ball

The mirror ball has long been a discotheque favorite, with it's ability to spread pinpoints of light far and wide. Autodisco! uses this effect in a way not normally seen. First, the 50 watt "flower" light is used during faster music sequences, and bounces off the ball to spread around the room at a low intensity. As the flower light produces moving light patterns in time to the music, and the mirror ball further reflects the light, the effect is one where the room is full of multi-coloured light spots, moving randomly in all directions.

Slow dance music calls for a more gentle lighting scheme. Here, the LED sound to light unit produces static lighting patterns, and the mirror ball effectively spreads small, dim spots light around the room that move slowly. According to the music, these spots will be red, blue, or green (or a combination of all three), and vary from dim, down to "off". In conjunction with the small ultra-violet tube, the effect is "relaxed" for those "special moments".
