Autodisco is available for hire in the south east of England
Autodisco is available for hire. What do you get ? You get a PC computer with internally stored dance music, lighting, the lighting control equipment, amplifiers and loudspeakers. We also supply the original CDs, which you will not actually need to use. (Necessary to conform with copyright requirements).
For the initial hire fee of £100 we will travel up to 20 miles (Centered around Gillingham, Kent, with a further £10 charge to anywhere else in Kent), to your party location, set the equipment up, and show you how to use it. (Very simple, all you have to do is turn it on, enter a password, and use the volume controls!). For those that wish, the equipment can also play audio CDs, and the lighting may also be manually controlled. Note that automatic lighting only works in a limited form when playing CDs. (After all, the main idea of Autodisco ! is that it plays the dance music that has been placed within the computer, allowing you to get on and enjoy your party without worrying about the music or lights). Nevertheless, your party guests may request specific music tracks, or even bring CDs with them. Instructions are provided if you wish to "manually" DJ Autodisco ! All the lighting effects may be manually controlled while playing CDs.
The music tracks within Autodisco ! are placed there before the party, and if you have a specific requirement, these may be pre-recorded for an extra charge. For this service, it will be necessary for customers to forward the required CDs two weeks before the hire date. Note that for copyright reasons, the Autodisco ! equipment MUST be accompanied at all times by the original CDs from which the internal music has been copied. The charge for customising the playlist is £0-50 per track, due to the vast amount of extra work entailed. (Recording and editing each track, and adjusting the playlist). This fee is negotiable for large amounts of customisation.
A non-returnable deposit of £50 is required to book Autodisco! and a payment of £150 will be required when the equipment is set up at the customer's house. When the equipment is collected the following day, £100 will be returned to the customer, less any charges due for accidental damage. In addition to these charges are the excess traveling charges previously mentioned, plus any charges raised for a customised playlist. Further charges (£20 per day) will be levied from the deposit if there is a delay in collecting the equipment for which the customer is responsible.
